Preparations are underway as the highly anticipated Harrogate Christmas Fayre opens to the public on the 29th of November at 10am.
The Fayre will feature up to 40 traders from countries such as the Netherlands, France, Ecuador and Greece, along with a wide variety of traders from Harrogate and North Yorkshire. From its town centre location, the Christmas Market is a great place to pick up some unique gifts that you won’t find on the high street!
Traditional arts and crafts will be available alongside a mouthwatering array of treats for visitors to sample or purchase as they wander around, soaking up the festive sights, sounds, and aromas. Enjoy a winter warmer or signature festive cocktail from the Fayre’s new award-winning mobile bar or indulge in culinary favorites like flavorful Greek gyros and loaded Christmas sandwiches.
Supported by Visit North Yorkshire and the Harrogate BID, Harrogate will be bursting with festive activities throughout the season, including the ever-popular Candy Cane Express road train, which will whisk market-goers around town each Friday through Sunday during the Christmas Fayre. For breathtaking views of Harrogate and its surroundings, a giant 32-meter Ferris wheel will provide an unforgettable vantage point, both day and night, allowing visitors to take in the dazzling Christmas lights and festive illuminations from above.
There is so much on offer throughout the city this year and the Christmas Markets are just one of a wealth of other festive events and activities launching as part of the Christmas festivities.
