Embark on the Little Peasants City Walking Tour and discover the toe-curling tales of York (14th – 21st February)

Running throughout half term, the Little Peasants City Walking Tour is 60 minutes of walking, laughing, and learning, suitable for all the family, and perfect for those too young (or scared!) to brave the depths of York Dungeon.

Hosted by Jester & Smedley, the tour starts at 10:30am outside York Dungeon, before taking visitors around York’s most spectacular sights, including Clifford’s Tower, York Minster, and The Shambles.

Families will learn all about the history of York, including the city’s most infamous rogues, including Dick Turpin, Guy Fawkes, and the Pearl of York herself, Margaret Clitherow.

IT’S DARKER, IT’S SCARIER… IT’S DUNGEON LATES!

EVERY SATURDAY THROUGH TO OCTOBER 2026!

That’s right, The York Dungeon will be opening into the darker hours of the night to bring back its infamous Dungeon Lates 18+ nights!

Running Saturdays from 6.30pm and lasting for 60 minutes, you and your despicable group will be led through our Dungeon Shows, but this time with even more twists and turns and saucier jokes than usual, you won’t know whether to laugh or scream!

The York Dungeon Lates mashes up theatre, special effects and intriguing storytelling with wit, humour, and plenty of edge-of-the-seat surprises for an after-hours experience like no other!

Expect more scares, saucy banter, cheekier jokes and even… well, we’ll let you find out for yourself.
