SPOOKTACULAR WEEK OF FIENDISH FAMILY FUN

Head for Eden Camp Modern History Museum this Halloween half-term for a spooktacular week of fiendish family fun and historical discoveries.

Perfect for children of all ages, with something for everyone to enjoy, Eden Camp has a packed programme of Halloween thrills, crafts, and eerie excitement.

As well as Eden Camp’s traditional war games dotted around the museum all week, and insightful  talks with members of the team inside its Heritage Hall, visitors can get hands-on with history and creativity in the special Halloween-themed workshops:

  • Wednesday 30th October – Peg Planes (1pm – 2pm)
    Let your imagination take flight! Create your very own Peg Plane to take home as a souvenir.
  • Thursday 31st October – WitchCrafts (1pm – 2pm)
    Learn all about the healing powers of herbs and medicine used during the war, and craft your own magical sensory spell bottle. Plus, colour in your very own spooky facemask.
  • Friday 1st November – Tank Egg Boxes (1pm – 2pm)
    Reuse and recycle with a WWII twist! Turn everyday egg boxes into your very own tank and discover the magic of ‘make do and mend’.

Additional activities during half-term include:

  • Halloween Bingo (26th Oct – 3rd Nov)
  • Halloween Day | 31st October
    Dress up in your spookiest costumes for Halloween day! Every visitor in fancy dress will receive a special prize.
