North Yorkshire Water Park, is now open and will be  unveiling  brand-new amenities to visitors this spring. Along with a new wake boarding line, the park will see a central new customer facility, housing a café along with brand-new changing rooms, opening in early 2021.

Following the lockdown roadmap guidance released from the Government, the North Yorkshire Water Park will be able to reopen bookings for groups of up to five or one household for instructor-based activities (to accommodate the rule of six and two-household rule).

  • With the go-ahead for outdoor sporting activities, visitors will be able to enjoy fishing, kayaking, pedalos, paddle boarding and leisure walking, as well as one-to-one wake boarding sessions upon completion of the new line.
  • While the changing rooms will remain closed in line with guidance, if temperatures allow, open water swimming will also be open to the public.
  • As well as the new wake board line, kickers and rails will also be added to provide a full range of wake boarding facilities, and experienced instructors will be on hand to help water sports lovers hone their new skills.

Located just east of Wykeham on the A170, the destination threw open the gates to visitors in 2017 with its AquaPark, dedicated to providing families, holidaymakers and water sports enthusiasts alike with a day out, or activity session, to remember. Throughout the summer, visitors are also able to book the onsite camping facilities to enjoy an extended stay from 12th April in line with the roadmap.
