Does Leeds Have The Best Chinese Restaurant?
The Legacy of Taste, the authority on Chinese food, has launched its 9th annual search to find the UK’s best Chinese restaurants and the competition is now open for people in Leeds to nominate their favourite eatery.
The Legacy of Taste Pagoda Awards are open to all types of Chinese restaurants, whether independent, part of a chain, fine dining, local or family run. All nominated restaurants will undergo public voting. Nominate your favourite restaurant in Leeds at www.legacyoftaste.com/nominate then tell everyone you know to vote!
Everyone nominating a restaurant will be entered into a draw to win two return flights to China, courtesy of Cathay Pacific.
TV chef and cookery author, Jeremy Pang, is part of the judging panel: “Chinese food is a real institution in the UK and The legacy of Taste brings communities together in support of their local restaurants. Previous Pagoda Award winners have been in rural and suburban locations as much as they have been in big cities, so you never know, the best Chinese restaurant in the UK could well be here in Leeds.”
Sponsored by China’s biggest beer export, Tsingtao and premium airline Cathay Pacific, The Legacy of Taste aims to protect the heritage of Chinese cuisine in the UK. Its Pagoda awards recognise those restaurants demonstrating an authentic menu and cooking techniques, in addition to high quality food, service and a great passion from the staff.
All Pagoda Award winning restaurants will be invited to the grand award ceremony in London, which takes place in March. They will also be listed in the Legacy of Taste eating out guide, where people can find the best Chinese restaurants to visit in any area of the UK and beyond.
