FREE SCHOOL HOLIDAY DAY

FREE SCHOOL HOLIDAY DAY

Looking for something to do with the kids this summer? Local family attraction, the M&S Archive in Leeds, offers an interactive exhibition about the history of the well-known retailer. Best of all, it’s free to enter!

The M&S Archive first opened in March 2012 and was extensively refurbished earlier this year with lots of new, interactive fun features to help keep the kids entertained.

Visitors can experience a Marks & Spencer Penny Bazaar and see how customers shopped over a century ago, while fashion fans will love the Design Studio where visitors of all ages can try on M&S vintage styles. The M&S Archive also features a Cinema area screening archive footage and clips from the retailer’s famous TV ads.

In addition to the exhibition, families will love the special events taking place over the summer:

Crafty Saturdays: 12 August

Bring the whole family to explore the exhibition, enjoy a cuppa and create something crafty. An Expert Crafter will be on hand to help you make a brilliant souvenir to take away. Free light refreshments included or bring a packed lunch and use our indoor picnic space.

Summer Family Fun: 14-18 and 21-25 August

Come and explore the exhibition and try our trail to claim your pack of Percy Pigs! There’ll be free squash, biscuits and hot drinks for the grown-ups and a picnic room – so why not bring your lunch with you?
