Leeds city centre will host the festive market again this year. The market will be officially be back from 22nd November with around 70 traditional staffs from international, national and local traders at two locations in the city centre.
After listening to detailed feedback from visitors and traders last year, the market will primarily be located on City Square and the Millennium Square area this year, and will also feature pop-up musical performances and a selection of Christmas food and drink, along with seasonal outdoor bars on City Square, Victoria Gardens and Millennium Square.
Visitors can look forward to discovering a variety of festive stalls selling unique gifts, crafts, and delicious treats from around the world.
A weekend artisan market from Little Bird will also be held on Bond Court (off Park Row), celebrating independent producers and makers every Saturday and Sunday while the Christmas market is taking place.
This year’s Christmas market will also run alongside the popular Ice Cube at Christmas ice skating rink on Millennium Square and Victoria Gardens.
The market will be operated by Market Place, the UK’s largest Christmas market operator and delivered at no cost to Leeds City Council. More details around the market will be released in the coming months.
The Leeds Christmas Market will be in the city from November 22 until December 22, 2024. Ice Cube will run from November 22 until December 31, 2024. For more details on planning your Christmas in Leeds this year, visit: https://www.visitleeds.co.uk/winter-season
