At the heart of its innovative formulas lies the camellia, Gabrielle Chanel’s beloved emblematic flower – but this time it is the red camellia, not the white,  that takes centre stage.

The red camellia’s unique skin regenerative properties power this collection. After 10 years of research, Chanel scientists discovered that the red camellia japonica, has a unique molecule that combats ‘senescence in the skin’ . This is when the skin cells stop functioning and go on to disrupt surrounding healthy cells that dull the complexion and contribute to the ageing process.

THE SKINCARE RANGE

The skincare has all been created to target the five major skin concerns: lines and wrinkles, pore visibility, loss of elasticity, lack of comfort and radiance.

Red Camellia Revitalizing Serum  has a transparent gel texture with a refreshing texture and immediately absorbs into the skin. Reduces appearance of wrinkles and pores whilst improving the skins elasticity.

Red Camellia Revitalizing Cream concentrated in red camellia extract and oil, this scented whipped cream smooths the look of lines, adds comfort and radiance to the skin whilst forming a protective barrier against pollution.

Red Camellia Revitalizing Eye Cream enriched with plant-origin squalene and hyaluronic acid this pearlescent white cream hydrates refreshes and illuminates the eyes instantly. It has a fresh texture and contains red camellia extract with revitalising properties.

Red Camellia Powder -to-Foam Cleanser Enriched with red camellia oil, it transforms on contact with water into a soft light foam that removes impurities and pollution residue.

Red Camellia Revitalizing Serum-in-Mist provides a red camellia extract that is as concentrated as the Revitalizing Serum. Spray on during the day it helps protect skin from pollution and revives makeup.

Red Camellia Revitalizing Lotion a fresh and transparent lotion highly concentrated in Camellia Water which is applied before serum and cream.

THE MAKEUP

Red Camellia Revitalizing Foundation contains coated pigments for long wear combined with a second skin effect film-forming duo which evens out skin tones and corrects imperfections.

Red Camellia Revitalizing Lip and Cheek Balm with red camellia and plant origin wax is a multi-use balm Smooth and non oily this creamy coloured balm can be applied with fingertips to lips and cheekbones to heighten their natural shade.

Olivier Polge used a skincare base enriched with refreshing camellia water and a revitalizing red camellia extract as the medium for his fragrance mist.
