‘DRACULA’ is choreographed and directed by David Nixon OBE, the man in charge at Northern Ballet, who’s also designed a collection of stunning costumes.  David says: “I think cinema audiences are going to love our production of ‘DRACULA’ – it’s an enduringly fascinating tale that explores the ends to which someone might go to live forever rather than face the unknown consequences of death.  We have wonderful dancers, an amazing gothic set and a really clever lighting design that’s going to draw audiences into Dracula’s sinister world.  I’m really excited that my production of ‘DRACULA’ is going to be Northern Ballet’s first LIVE cinema broadcast – and on Halloween as well!”

This live screening – facilitated by CinemaLive, who produce and distribute top shows for cinemas – means more people will be able to check out Northern Ballet’s award-winning blend of world-class dancing and gripping theatre – all for the price of a cinema ticket.

This is ballet for people who love a great story and you don’t necessarily have to know anything about ballet to enjoy it!  We recommend getting the popcorn in before Dracula’s fangs get the better of his first victim…
