If you can sing, dance or stand on your eyelashes then why not enter the Yorkshire Cat Rescue’s first ever on line talent contest.

Is dancing your thing? Super at singing? Or are magic tricks more up your sleeve? Yorkshire Cat Rescue would love to showcase the talents of their wonderful supporters, raise community spirits during the lockdown and hopefully raise a few pounds to help cats and kittens who are desperately in need. Who knows where this might take you?

YCR’s Got Talent will be open to all ages and abilities so get in the spirit, and come and join in the fun.

Among the judges will be Leeds Guide’s Liz Coggins, who is also a member of the exclusive Critics Circle and reviews theatre  for some of the most prestigious publications.  Having trod the boards herself and run an arts academy Liz is looking forward to joining the panel along with her feline friend, who came from Yorkshire Cat Rescue – Miss Maude.

The event will be held on YCR’s Facebook page, with the Grand Final taking place on Friday 26th June. For terms & conditions, prizes and more details on how to enter, head to https://yorkshirecatrescue.org/event/ycrs-got-talent

Yorkshire cat Rescue exists to save the lives of abandoned and unwanted cats and kittens in Yorkshire and beyond.

All cats are provided with food, love, shelter and the necessary veterinary care until they find a forever loving home. They are cared for by our many fosterers across Yorkshire or at our centre in Keighley.

All the cats in our care are neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and given any other medical and behavioural treatment required before rehoming. We have a no-kill policy (unless recommended by vets due to quality of life). This means that we sometimes get chronically ill cats (or kittens) that can still lead a very good life (pretty much equal to any healthy cat) but have to have long-term medication and/or treatment. Any cat in our care will be cared for until we find him or her a home.
