Join WOW as Women of the World’s Founder, CEO and acclaimed theatre director Jude Kelly brings The WOW Show to York Theatre Royal on October 13 as part of a nationwide tour.

WOW – Women of the World – is run by the WOW Foundation, a charity dedicated to achieving a gender equal world.

Jude ran Leeds Playhouse (or West Yorkshire Playhouse as it was then known) from 1990 to 2002 and was artistic director of the Southbank Centre in London from 2006-2018. She founded The WOW Foundation in 2010.

Audiences for The WOW Show are promised an evening of optimism, determination and laughter.

You’re invited to join the conversation as Jude explores our often exasperating and confusing journey towards gender equity, covering everything from money, sex, race, food, and ageing.

Expect personal anecdotes, local guests, big ideas and lots of fun, as Jude takes WOW on the road across the UK.
