WALKING DREAM TREES

TAKE TO THE STREETS FOR LIGHT NIGHT

WALKING DREAM TREES

Giant, illuminated ‘Dream Trees’ will roam Leeds city centre this week as part of the 15th annual Light Night Leeds spectacular.

The nine-foot walking, talking trees are part of an installation at the festival by Vastint UK, to showcase its transformation of the former Tetley Brewery Site into a new, city-centre park called Aire Park

The trees can be spotted in Light Night Leeds’ opening parade and throughout both nights of the event, on Thursday 10 October and Friday 11 October, to celebrate the 500 new trees that Aire Park will bring to Leeds.

Aire Park is an all-purpose district with a city park at its heart and will be an integral part of Leeds City Council’s regeneration of South Bank, with the first stage of construction due to commence mid-2020.
