CELEBRATE THE RELEASE OF THIS FILM WITH BETTYS SPECIAL GIFT BOX
Bettys Café Tea Rooms in Harrogate has revealed a new window display celebrating the release of The Railway Children Return, in cinemas now. The window features a biscuit version of the steam train featured in the film, hand-decorated by confectioners at Bettys Craft Bakery.
The sequel to one of the most beloved family films of all time, The Railway Children Return is an adventure for a new generation. The new film is still as enchanting as the original one and if you haven’t already read the book it will inspire you to read it.
Starring Jenny Agutter, Sheridan Smith and Tom Courtenay most of it was made on location here in God’s Own County using the Keighley and Worth Valley railway.
The film sees a group of childen evacuated to a Yorkshire village during World War 11 where they encounter a young soldier who like them is far away from home.
To celebrate this film andiIn partnership with the film Bettys has created a limited-edition gift box, filled with a delicious selection of treats. These are presented in a beautifully illustrated box created by artist Emily Sutton and commissioned especially for the occasion.
