AT THE ICE CUBE
Thousands of people across Leeds will be getting their skates on this winter as one of the city’s coolest attractions has returned to Millenium Square.
The Ice Cube has been giving visitors a chance to whizz round the ice under a bigger, specially covered outdoor rink complete with a new transparent marquee style roof.
Returning for its second year, the new penguin club on Saturday and Sunday mornings will mean children can take their first steps on to the ice in a fun and safe environment with the assistance of the popular penguin skating aids.
There is also a dedicated accessible session every Thursday mornings at 10.am which is suitable for wheelchair users and other disabled persons.
The ice cube in Millenium Square until 24 February. For details of session times, prices and to book session tickets visit www.millsqleeds.com/icecube.
