Have you ever been to a film musical and had the uncontrollable urge to burst into song?
Ever wanted to know what it’s like to be a T-bird or a Pink Lady but never quite felt cool enough to pull it off? Well, now is your chance to don those pink jackets, grease up those quiffs and let your inhibitions go for an evening where you are the star as Sing-a-long-a Grease rolls into St George’s Hall, Bradford for one night only on Friday 1 March.
“It’s the one that you want”, says producer Ben Freedman, who previously brought us Sing-a-long-a Sound of Music and Sing-a-long-a Abba. “Sing-a-long-a Grease is the show that audiences have been asking for since we first presented a singalong show back in 1999”
“Sing-a-long-a Grease is much more than ‘just a film’”, says Freedman. ”It’s an event, an interactive experience and the most fun you can have with your clothes on.”
Every performance begins with a Sing-a-long-a Grease host leading a vocal warm-up before they show the audience how to use the contents of their free goody bag during the film and suggest some appropriate heckles and accompanying actions.
Then, just sit back and watch Danny & Sandy and the gang, while singing (and dancing of course) along to the lyrics on the screen.
It couldn’t be easier… or more fun! The first rule of Sing-a-long-a Grease is – THERE ARE NO RULES! Fancy dress is strongly encouraged and full audience participation essential.
So you’d better shape up for a visit to St George’s Hall… Book now for the one that you want! And remember GREASE is the word!
