Watching the BAFTA’s at the weekend I wondered just how many celebrities had been pampering and prepping themselves in the days before to make sure they looked their best as they sashayed up the red carpet.

There are lots of facials on the market to suit every taste, need and pocket with new ones appearing almost every month. But there’s one that has stood the test of time and is truly a celebrity beauty secret.

It must be over twenty years ago, when I was a magazine editor in London, that I first heard of CACI. The London pack of ab-fab editors couldn’t get enough of it and we all rushed out and made it part of our regular beauty routines.

Rewind into the twenty -first century and its still going strong with a following of A Listers that include Lindsay Lohan and Jennifer Lopez

The CACI award winning Non-Surgical Facelift has undergone a nip and tuck itself since it was first launched all those years ago.

So what is CACI?  It’s a muscle lifting procedure that uses microcurrent technology to send out tiny electrical impulses which, will lift and tone the facial muscles and the neck area, whilst improving skin elasticity and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

CACI Synergy is the latest version with a pioneering technology that delivers LED light therapy skin rejuvenation and microcurrent facial toning at the same time.

The treatment starts with an ultrasonic deep cleanse which rids the skin of of makeup residue, blemishes and impurities  followed by ultrasonic peeling and microdermabrasion. The work on the muscles then begins for just over 30 minutes after which there’s  a wrinkle comb. This targets deep lines and wrinkles  and provides  non-invasive alternative to dermal fillers.

The treatment ends with the CACI  Hydro Mask infused with rose water, hyaluronic acid and collagen to provide the skin with an extra boost of hydration for a plumper effect.

After the facial my skin looked toned and glowing and the following day I could see that good old CACI had lost non of its facial magic powers. Although like with most facial treatments a course is recommended for the best, lasting results.
