Pop-Up Bar to help celebrate Christmas
Leeds Dock will throw open the doors of pop-up riverside bar Dock 29 next Tuesday (December 15th) to welcome Sky moving into the area and offer a plethora of winter warming cocktails, sparkling wines and beers.
The eclectic space will comprise of chic furniture, rich fabrics and a suspended aeroplane to offer a contemporary urban feel and a unique setting for people looking to unwind in the hectic countdown to Christmas.
There will be New Orleans inspired genre-splicing brass band, alongside carols around the Christmas Tree from Leeds Youth Opera.
Leeds Dock Project Director Tim Gee said: “We are looking forward to a really exciting and innovative bar launch at Dock 29. There will be live music and flowing drinks as well as canapes. The movers and shakers of Leeds will join us as we welcome Sky alongside a whole host of other exciting companies who are moving into the thriving area of Leeds Dock.”
Dock 29 will become a central hub of the Leeds Dock enterprise village and will be popping up for a minimum of three months to celebrate Sky@Leeds Dock’s arrival.
By April 2016, Sky’s new technology campus will be bringing a total of 600 employees down to the Leeds Dock enterprise village and will be supported by a buzzing programme of events that will be organised and delivered by Allied London, Hello Work and Sky’s own events team.
