Burgundy and the crew are back as the Jameson Cult Film Club gears up to host its biggest film ever – it’s kind of a big deal
This is a chance for Leeds film fans to attend a preview screening of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues for free, seeing the film before anyone else ahead of its release in UK cinemas on December 18th. Jameson Cult Film Club will be transforming Prime Studios in Leeds into the Jameson News Team HQ for one night only. Guests are encouraged to don their best Ron Burgundy and Veronica Corningstone outfits, for an evening of news reporting, weather warnings and Anchorman-inspired Jameson cocktails. Film fans will not be disappointed, as nostalgic news items and moments from the world of Anchorman are re-created at the event, followed by a screening of the new film Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues .

Jameson Cult Film Club will host preview screenings for the year’s most hotly anticipated film, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues before its release in UK cinemas on December 18th.
The screening experience will open in London before heading on a UK tour visiting Manchester and Leeds. Guests will be treated to the usual Jameson Cult Film Club experience, immersing the audience into the world of Ron Burgundy. With the 70’s behind him, San Diego’s top rated newsman, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), returns to the news desk in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. Also back for more are Ron’s co-anchor and wife, Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), weather man Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), man on the street Brian Fontana (Paul Rudd) and sports guy Champ Kind (David Koechner) – all of whom won’t make it easy to stay classy…while taking the nation’s first 24-hour news channel by storm; so expect surprise jazz flute sessions, salon quality hair makeovers and Anchorman themed Jameson cocktails.
Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues will be the first Future Cult screening of the season with a second to be announced in early 2014. For the uninitiated, ‘Future Cult’ screenings showcase a film that Jameson believes could become a cult film in the future.
