York’s Chocolate Story is hosting hands-on Summer Masterclasses led by the tour’s Master Chocolatiers. This is an immersive experience in the art of moulding and decorating.  Guests will roll, dip and decorate their own Summer inspired fruity-flavoured ganache-filled chocolate truffles in the finest of Belgian couverture chocolate as well as crafting and personalising their very own chocolate lolly. On top of this visitors will experience a live demonstration of the artisanal process of the creation of the UK’s favourite confectionary. These 90-minute masterclasses will be held every Wednesday, from July 22nd to September 3rd, between 2pm and 3:30 pm.

There’s also 90 minute Walking Tours round the city tracing York’s chocolate history which  begins with a chocolate tasting session and also a guided tour that involves the Truffle Rolling Experience. But top of the tree is the 2 hour VIP Chocolate Masterclass that includes many chocolate techniques including decorating artisan chocolate moulds and creating a variation of chocolates.
