FEELING BLUE

A hot beauty tip from London Fashion Week

FEELING BLUE

London Fashion Week once again bought us some very memorable shows, and while the designers gave us new wardrobe ideas, Georgia May Jagger gave us inspiration for a new beauty trend. She was spotted at a Marc Jacobs dinner sporting statement blue brows.

Will blue brows be the next big make-up trend? Boutique’s creative consultants Jo Saville and Sophia Price tell you how you can take inspiration from Miss Jagger.

“Whether it’s a graphic blue line along the lashes, navy shades smudged into the corner of your eye or a chalky blue eye-shadow on the lid; I like to keep the rest of the face simple, a luminosity to the skin and a subtle hint of nude on the lips. Let the eyes do all the talking,” says Jo.

“Blue eyes can convey so many things when applied in different ways. Shimmery, pastel shades of blue and it’s pretty, matte blue’s become punky, deep midnight metallic hues turn your look sexy. The great thing about blue is that it works on all skin tones,” says Sophia.

Getting the look need not break the bank either. For you can get the look with Boutique. On the eyes use Out of the Blue (£4)  and on the lips Cat That Got the Cream (£7).
