For one night only, on 15 November, the internationally acclaimed BBC Big Band will appear at The Grand Theatre & Opera House Leeds for an evening very special concert celebrating the incredible music of the iconic James Bond movie franchise.
Featuring the renowned 17-piece BBC Big Band orchestra, alongside legendary conductor Barry Forgie and vocalists Emer McParland and Iain Mackenzie, the concert explores the very best of Bond. Including a sparkling collection of classic numbers such as Diamonds are Forever, Thunderball, Goldfinger and Live & Let Die – through to the most recent themes from Skyfall and No Time to Die. All performed in the BBC Big Band’s own inimitable, swinging style!
Alongside the Bond themes, there will also be a selection of music inspired by the film genre, from the likes of Mission: Impossible through to Austin Powers – as well as a few surprises along the way.
So, dust off your tuxedo, pour yourself a martini (shaken not stirred … of course!), and join
