Treat the father figure in your life to a day out like no other at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR), where he can immerse himself in the incredible scenery, rich heritage culture, and iconic steam and diesel locomotives.

Treat him to a first class experience of a delicious seasonal three-course meal, cooked and served onboard the Pullman Dining Train, traversing the 18 mile heritage line through the stunning North York Moors National Park.​

The NYMR recently revealed new Speciality Services including Beer Tasting (21st June) and Wine & Cheese Tasting (25th July). The luxury offering on board its 1940s Great Western Saloon carriage is a unique setting for these experiences. All services depart on a return journey from Grosmont Station at 12:35pm to Pickering Station, which then arrive back at Grosmont Station at 3:20pm.

Over Father’s Day weekend, the NYMR will be welcoming guest locomotives to join its home fleet for the Diesel Gala (14-16 June) for a special extensive timetable. Many services will be offering a selection of beers and ciders served from the on-board buffet bars. There will also be a selection of traders including Rail Riders, Transport Past Times, Yorkshire Wolds Railway and DPP Model Railways.
