HELP MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT
Macmillan is looking for brave shavers to stand proudly alongside men and women with
cancer by shaving their head this August.
Whether in your own home, at the hairdressers or down at the barbers, we want you to join guys and girls across the country by hair-oic-ly braving the shave to raise money for Macmillan.
People diagnosed with cancer face hair loss and changes to their appearance that affect everything from how they look, to how they feel. By braving the shave and raising money you will help Macmillan to give people with cancer the specialised support they need, when they need it most.
T.V. Presenter Tim Lovejoy has faced the clippers and shaved his hair for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The Sunday Brunch host has supported the charity for a number of years, since his brother was diagnosed with cancer and cared for by the charity’s nurses before he passed away in 2003.
Tim says: “ Macmillan offers a fantastic range of support to people affected by cancer so I was happy to face the clippers and support Brave the Shave”.
