There’s a whole host of products out there that will add that certain something to your Valentine’s Day.

So if you want to get into the spirit of things and add a sophisticated sparkle for that special night out or put some ideas on your wish list  so that certain someone chooses a gift that you really want – then read on…

Top of my wish list is Chanel’s newly launched Les Exclusifs De Chanel 1957.  I love all things retro and this season Chanel celebrates this particular year with a new eau de parfum 1957. This was the year of Garbrielle Chanel’s consecration in America and also 19 the day of her birth and 57 celebrates the re-opening of the East 57th Street New York City boutique, the largest Chanel store in the United States.

1957 is a fragrance that is timeless. It is an assembly of eight white musks delicately enhanced with floral notes of bergamot, iris and neroli, woody notes of cedar, powdery accents and a hint of honey to create a luminous and powerful fragrance.

Red Lips are  a must for Valentine’s Day. If you are choosing red do be careful when applying use a lip brush and build up the colour gradually and use a lip liner pencil to stop the lipstick bleeding. A little foundation on the lips enhances the colour and a matte lipsticks have the best staying power. Chose the red which tones with your complexion either a blue red, pinky red, orange red or a pure red from the red colour families. We like MAC’s Lady Danger (left) and their retro red shade Ruby Woo (right).

Launched specially for Valentine’s Day those lovely people at Lush have a new evocative perfume range consisting of five new products. Goddess is  a beguiling fragrance comprising of oudh, sandalwood and rose. The fragrance is available in five different products, a traditional spray perfume, a travel friendly solid, moisture rich perfume oil, soap and a wash card – an alternative to bottled shower gels, easily transportable and made with fresh apple pump.
