Up-and-coming Leeds comedy quartet spread madcap merriment

Preview: The Dog-Eared Collective

In preparation for what should be a stonking fourth run at the Edinburgh Fringe this August, local sketch-comedy troupe The Dog-Eared Collective will be appearing at Stage@Leeds on 22nd June, with their brand new show, Joyride.

The surreal sketch quartet are renowned for their unique brand of anarchic comedy theatre, and Joyride takes the audience on a full throttle thrill ride,  showcasing the company’s high-octane style and sharp linguistic edge. The show satirises Great British pastimes: from Morris Dancing With Missiles to Stricken Come Dancing, it’s a no-holds-barred crash course in madcap comedy.

With a clutch of high-profile recommendations to their name, and reportedly on many critics’ ‘ones to watch’ lists for the coming year, you’d be wise to get ahead of the crowd and check out The Dog-Eared Collective before they head to Edinburgh.
