After a six-year break from stand-up, comedian and actor Jack Dee is travelling the country with his new Work in Progress tour and will be performing at Leeds City Varieties Music Hall on 14th and 15th May.
As a regular on the likes of Have I Got News For You, QI and 8 out of 10 Cats, as well as the star and co-writer of BBC sitcom Lead Balloon, Dee is back to what made him famous: stand-up. His cynical, deadpan, ultra-dry wit has secured his place as one of Britain’s favourite comedians, earning him a huge fan base since he first emerged in the late-80s.
When asked his reasoning for touring after such a long break, Dee said in trademark style: “I want to spend less time with my family.”

Went to see hm on Monday 14th May and he was very disappointing. Relying on miserable delivery of poor unfunny stories. I was really looking forward to it but left at half time throughly disappointed.
