Preview Have you got what it takes to be an international fashion stylist?
Elle are celebrating their 25th birthday this year by launching Shop Girl to Stylist, a six month talent search for the next big thing
Preview: Have you got what it takes to be an international fashion stylist?
As part of the regional tour, Elle staff will be visiting Leeds on 12th May, offering you and your fashion conscious friends the opportunity to meet and greet the fashion team. They’ll be scouting for talent in the city centre, including at participating stores Urban Outfitters and Debenhams, and offering styling tips and advice to staff and customers.
As well as encouraging people to enter the competition, Elle also want to highlight the importance of the campaign’s careers initiative. The British high street is one of the most exciting in the world, and the people who work in retail quite literally style the nation. Elle magazine wants to give them the recognition they deserve.
One lucky shop assistant will get their big break in the world of international styling, the chance to style an Elle photo shoot, plus an internship at the magazine and expert mentoring from Elle’s successful fashion director, Anne-Marie Curtis.
Any shop assistants can enter via the website, where they’ll be expected to prove their style credentials and provide a reference from their retail employer.
