Last Meal: Katie Revolution Electric Press
Other Recent Last Meal Articles
Found just off the Millennium Square, Revolution Electric Press is a local favourite for both food and a razzle. Assistant manager Katie Thompson has been working there for almost a year and she tells us what she would have for last ever dinner.
Starter
“It would probably have to be pate on toast; a chicken liver pate like the one my sister makes would be good. I absolutely love garlic and pate is laced in it. My sister makes it every single Christmas as a starter. It’s a good all-round tradition I think.”
Main
“I’ve always said that my last ever meal would have to be a massive cheeseboard with absolutely every single cheese there is in the world. I love cheese, so a mixture of loads of cheese and crackers would be amazing! With some grapes I suppose, they’re always a good little extra to have with it to pick at, or tomatoes.”
Dessert
“Anything with chocolate in it! I mean absolutely anything. The biggest bit of chocolate cake imaginable would be perfect with lots of high fat pouring cream! I guess you could say I just want my last meal to contain lots and lots of fat. The fattier the better - it just makes things taste better.”
Who with?
“It would have to be my sister. She’s my best friend and I don’t really get to see her very often. She only lives in Nottingham, but she’s just had a baby. We get on really well and I love spending time with her, so it would definitely have to be her.”
