Health & Wellbeing Leeds' Biggest Gym Opens

New gym launches with day of fitness and fundraising on Saturday 18th February

Health & Wellbeing: Leeds' Biggest Gym Opens

A gym which will be Leeds’ biggest is set to open in the city on Friday 24th February, with a fund-raising activities day on Saturday 18th. Affordable Yorkshire gym operator Xercise4less is inviting Leeds residents to ‘high five their hearts’ on the 18th with a day of free, five minute power classes in support of the British Heart Foundation and Leeds Children’s Hospital.

Running from 12pm – 2pm there will be a range of free 5 minute power classes taking place in the new studio, incorporating activities from Zumba to kick boxing, spinning, to step. Set within the 40,000 sq ft site on Kirkstall Road instructors will create classes that can be dipped in and out of by attendees, so people could do five minutes or 50 minutes of exercise.

Hosted by Captital FM’s Hirsty, the classes should be fun and give a view of what’s on offer at the fourth in a local chain of gyms, with tours available throughout the day.

Xercise4less Managing Director and ex Leeds rugby player, Jon Wright said, “With Xercise4less we’ve set out to create ‘the people’s gym’ at each site, realising members use the facilities for lots of different reasons. This event is intended to bring people together and we’re also proud to be supporting two great causes along the way.“
