Lost Connection

Featuring appearances from Stephen Fry and Celia Imrie, Lost Connection tells the story of a young man who obsesses over a Hollywood star during the build-up to his father’s funeral. Lost Connection captures the moment when self-obsession threatens to destroy relationships when they matter the most.

Myra

Experimental short, Myra, adapted for the screen from Caroline’s award-winning stage piece, Suffer Little Children, was inspired by an article written by Myra Hindley in The Guardian in 1995. Myrais a lyrical memoir to Britain’s most reviled woman made with zero budget and only three cast members. Dan’s debut short was officially selected at SXSW 2010 and awarded a Coup De Coeur at Cannes 2010.

The Calculus of Love

Starring Keith Allen, The Calculus of Love is a mathematical thriller about Professor AG Bowers who dreams of solving the fabled 250-year old Goldbach Conjecture. When a series of mysterious letters arrive pointing at a solution Bowers believes his lifelong dream may be within reach. The Calculus of Love will screen in the York Mansion House, the first purpose built residence for a Lord Mayor in the country.

Acid Burn

Agyness Deynand When Did you Last See Your Father? Star Matthew Beard take lead roles in this story about two teenagers attending a Catholic school. When one of the teenagers, who is heavily into the acid scene, take the other on a wild night out it ends with drastic consequences. Matt Greenhalgh’s credits include Nowhere Boy and Control.

Ray Nomoto Robison (Kissed Elvis Productions)

The Bag

For The Bag, Robison has teamed up with actress Maryln Mason, best known as Elvis’ leading lady in The Trouble with Girls. The Bag is a simple yet disturbing story of an elderly woman who has grown tired of living. Based on a true story, The Bag is based on interactions Mason has with her mother and stepfather. It’s a moving and fascinating piece of cinema.
