Feature Old Bell Tavern

Although only established in , Old Bell Tavern is on the site of an early th-century alehouse- cum-coaching inn called the ‘Blue Bell’. The ground floor has been extended into the neighbouring one-time toffee shop with the original toffee memorabilia adorning the walls. Even the original display shelves remain! The main brasserie, open for evening service (Mon to Sat), is located on the first floor and is a haven of quiet away from the busy bar area. Lunch is available daily in the bar. Hearty homemade pies and traditional dishes are always popular at the Old Bell, but vegetarians are also welcome.
