Local charity are on the lookout for spies for secret mission to take place in Leeds City Centre

As the excitement for the new James Bond film builds a local charity are looking for their very own Leeds secret agents to take part in a covert mission to win territory and conquer the city of Leeds – before their rivals get there first! Teams will have to crack passwords, solve puzzles, complete challenges to be win territory and be victorious.

Leeds Mencap a local and independent charity that supports over 300 people with individuals with learning disabilities throughout Leeds are teaming up with Espionage - a hugely exciting game designed for companies and groups looking for an exhilarating event to inspire and engage their teams. This fast paced event will take place on the streets of Leeds involving various tasks and challenges using mobile technology.

Leeds Mencap are looking for teams of four to five persons to take part in this thrilling event on Sunday 4th November. Teams will require strong teamwork, great planning and organising skillsand tactical thinking to be successful. This event is effective as a team-building platform, or as a reward and recognition activity, or just a fun day out! This event is open to everyone including teams of friends, local community groups and work colleagues- anyone who wants to live the life of a spy for the day.

Leeds Mencap’s fundraising officer Sinead O’Brien said: “We are always on the lookout for new and exciting events and Espionage fits that description perfectly. This is the first time that any event like this has taken place in Leeds and is definitely going to be an unforgettable experience. Leeds City Centre will become the players’ giant board game for the day! We are expecting great comrade rivalry from the teams and we can’t wait to see who will be the champions. We invite everyone to take part!”

Teams are asked to pay an entrance fee of £25, and raise a minimum sponsorship of £100. The team who raises the most in sponsorship before the mission will win a bonus district within the mission. 100% of what is raised by each team will go directly to Leeds Mencap helping the charity to continue delivering vital services for families with learning disability throughout Leeds.
