Classical The Gambler

The Howard Assembly Room is transformed for the evening into Russian novelist Fyodor Dostoevsky’s decadent casino in the fictional town of Roulettenburg. Extracts from his novel, The Gambler, and live performances of chamber music composed by Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev and Rachmaninoff, set the scene as a web of intrigue, greed and obsession unfolds around you.
