Probably the best place to eat out in Knaresborough, Carriages’ home-cooked tapas menu is the perfect accompaniment to an afternoon spent under an umbrella in the bar’s fun-sized suntrap garden. With views down towards the railway station and viaduct and down to the Nidd it’s an impressive and relaxing place to sit out and enjoy great food and drink. If the tapas doesn’t grab you then something from the a la carte menu or wine cellar is certain to do the trick.
